Costumes - Aunt(research)

The Aunt, while rich and pompous, I feel would probably not wear the fashions of the time. I think she would still be wearing the fashions of her victory days, from around the turn of the century. She would be very overdone, covered in lace and ruffles and buttons and many layers of silk and colours. The gown would be very decadent and opulant, but terribly overindulgent and out of style and fashion, even for a woman on her age.
